Toronto, Ontario, Canada – November 2024 – Nayantara S. has taken on the role of Vice President, People, Culture & Operations at GCI Canada, where she will lead the company’s people strategies, foster an inclusive culture, and oversee operations to support business objectives and employee well-being. Her commitment to creating impactful workplace experiences aligns with GCI Canada’s mission to architect ideas that stand the test of executional excellence.
Prior to her elevation to Vice President, Nayantara served as Director, People + Culture at GCI Canada for over three years. In this role, she played a pivotal part in building a culture of collaboration, implementing HR initiatives, and enhancing employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
Before joining GCI Canada, Nayantara gained extensive HR experience at PATTISON Outdoor, where she served as a Human Resources Generalist and later as an HR Administrator. Over her nearly eight-year tenure, she managed HR operations, employee relations, and talent acquisition, contributing significantly to the development of robust HR processes and fostering a positive work environment.
Nayantara’s early career experience includes roles with Pattison Onestop as a Residential Network Coordinator and Junior Bookkeeper/Receptionist, where she honed her project coordination and administrative skills. She coordinated network launches and maintained client relations, laying a strong foundation for her future roles in people and culture.
