San Francisco, California, United States – November 2024 – Jillian Souza has joined PayZen as the new Vice President, People. In this role, Jillian will lead PayZen’s global People function, driving the company’s mission to tackle healthcare affordability through innovative financing solutions. She will oversee initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace culture, enhance talent development, and align HR practices with PayZen’s strategic goals.
Jillian joins PayZen from Clumio, where she served as the Chief People Officer and played a pivotal role in leading organizational health initiatives and guiding M&A activities during the Commvault acquisition. Her experience includes a notable tenure at BigPanda, where she held various senior roles, such as Head of People Strategy and Total Rewards and Interim Chief People Officer. During her time there, Jillian led transformative programs, including a comprehensive rewards strategy and the redesign of performance management practices.
Prior to BigPanda, Jillian held key HR roles at Blend, where she managed the HR Business Partner function and led HR diligence efforts for M&A projects. She also contributed significantly to HR operations at Pandora, where she was involved in acquisition integrations and total rewards analysis.
Jillian’s career began with an internship at Kaiser Permanente and progressed through various HR and people operations roles, which laid the foundation for her expertise in people strategy, organizational development, and talent management.
