New Delhi, India, December 2025 — OnePlus has announced the appointment of Neelesh Satoniya as Head of General Trade Sales for the India Region, marking a key strategic move as the company continues to expand its offline and general trade presence across the country. With nearly two decades of cross-industry experience across consumer technology, FMCG, and retail operations, Neelesh brings a proven track record of driving market share growth and scaling distribution networks across India.
Prior to joining OnePlus, Neelesh was with Xiaomi Technology for close to nine years, where he played a crucial role in the company’s growth journey. Serving in multiple leadership roles, including Associate Director & Zonal Head for MPCG and UPUK, Zonal Business Manager, and Lead of Mi Homes India Retail Operations, he successfully strengthened Xiaomi’s offline presence, expanded the flagship Mi Homes retail channel, and led multiple zones to achieve top GFK market share positions.
Before Xiaomi, Neelesh worked with Samsung Electronics, where he delivered exceptional sales performance by increasing regional market share in key territories such as Jabalpur and Indore. His tenure at Unibic Foods India Pvt Ltd, Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), and Nestlé further deepened his understanding of India’s consumer and trade dynamics, giving him a solid foundation in channel sales, distribution management, and go-to-market strategy.
In his new role at OnePlus, Neelesh will be responsible for accelerating the company’s general trade growth, expanding retail partnerships, and strengthening its omnichannel footprint across India. His diverse experience in building high-performing teams, leading market expansion, and implementing scalable trade strategies positions him to play a pivotal role in OnePlus’ next phase of growth in the competitive consumer technology landscape.
