London, United Kingdom, November 2025 — Niall Allen-Curry has begun a new chapter as Head of People Systems, Data & Innovation at Reach plc, taking on a strategic leadership role within the UK and Ireland’s largest commercial news publisher. In this position, he now leads People Systems, People Analytics, Workforce Insights, and Digital Innovation to strengthen Reach plc’s capability in people intelligence and data-driven decision-making.
Before taking on this new role, Niall made a strong impact at Reach plc as People Data & Insight Manager, where he spent over two years driving performance reporting, people analytics, data cleaning, and insight generation. His contributions were instrumental in supporting business leaders with data-backed decisions across the organisation’s extensive newsroom and corporate teams.
Prior to joining Reach plc, Niall built deep workforce analytics expertise at The Workforce Development Trust as Senior Workforce Data Analyst. During this period, he strengthened people data processes, advanced reporting frameworks, and expanded organisational capability in analytics, including Power BI and project management.
Earlier, Niall spent nearly four years at Northumbria Police as Workforce Planning Analyst, where he delivered workforce planning analysis, recruitment forecasting, succession planning, and talent planning insights for critical policing operations. His role also involved developing resourcing tools, vacancy forecasting models, and labour-market research to help senior leaders make informed long-term decisions.
Niall’s foundation in data analytics and resource planning was shaped through roles at Virgin Money and TSB Bank, where he worked across resource planning, performance analysis, operational forecasting, and contact-centre capacity planning. His early progression from Performance Analyst to Team Leader – Telephone Banking at TSB Bank strengthened his leadership capability and grounded his understanding of people operations.
