Bunbury, Western Australia, Australia, October 2024 – Nicky McManus has been appointed as the Vice President of Culture & People Development at Tronox. In her new role, Nicky will lead the company’s people strategy, focusing on fostering a strong organizational culture, driving employee engagement, and supporting leadership development across the global workforce.
Prior to this role, Nicky served as the Global VP HR Operations – Acting at Tronox, where she managed HR operations globally, overseeing HR transformation initiatives and implementing strategic human resources leadership across the organization. Her tenure was marked by significant contributions to the company’s human capital management efforts.
Before stepping into global HR leadership, Nicky was the Human Resources Director – APAC, where she was responsible for HR transformation, change management, and leadership development in the Asia-Pacific region. Nicky played a pivotal role in driving organizational changes and supporting the APAC leadership team in their HR strategies.
Earlier in her career at Tronox, she held the position of HR Manager – Compensation, Benefits & Payroll – APAC, where she managed payroll processes and benefits structures, ensuring legal compliance and driving compensation strategy across the region.
Nicky’s career journey also includes her role as Regional HR Manager – Asia during Tronox’s acquisition of Cristal, where she provided strategic HR leadership and supported the integration process, contributing to successful post-merger restructuring and compliance management.
