New York, USA, June 2024 – Wells Fargo is pleased to announce that Nicola White has joined the company as the new VP, HR Business Execution Lead. With a distinguished career in human resources and a robust background in both corporate and military HR, Nicola will be instrumental in driving HR strategies and initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Nicola White brings a wealth of experience to Wells Fargo. Most recently, she served as Director, People Strategy Partner at Thinx Inc. from June 2021 to June 2024. In this role, she partnered with multiple executive team members to deliver strategic human resource solutions, encompassing talent management, compensation planning, performance management, and employee relations. She managed and resolved intricate employee relations matters, collaborated with legal experts on HR policies, and led significant organizational design and change management initiatives during the acquisition and integration of Thinx into a global CPG company.
Prior to her tenure at Thinx Inc., Nicola was with BNY Mellon for approximately 3 years and 9 months. She held roles including VP HRBP & CAO for Operations from April 2019 to June 2021, where she collaborated with senior leaders to implement strategic HR solutions, provided comprehensive people analytics to Executive Committee members, and oversaw position tracking and HR operation budgets. Additionally, Nicola managed wellbeing benefits programs and cultivated relationships with multiple vendors to ensure contractual compliance and risk mitigation.
Nicola also has a significant part-time role in the United States Army Reserve as a Staff Sergeant 42A Human Resources since July 2009. She is currently assigned to the 2-80th Military Police Battalion Detachment as the Senior Human Resources Sergeant, responsible for coordinating training programs, maintaining personnel records, and providing guidance to soldiers and their families. Her deployments to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, highlight her leadership and operational efficiency in HR functions within the military.
Earlier in her career, Nicola served as a Program Manager at Familylinks, Inc. from September 2012 to January 2016, where she provided operational leadership for an independent living and job readiness program for at-risk youth. She also held roles at accessAbilities as a Human Resource Assistant and at ServiceLink as a Human Resource Coordinator, where she managed recruitment processes, new hire orientations, HRIS data integrity, and wellness initiatives.
