Dubai, United Arab Emirates, January 2025 – Nicolas Deflaux has joined KPMG as the Head of Talent Acquisition Middle East, where he will lead efforts to enhance recruitment strategies, streamline processes, and drive talent acquisition excellence across the region.
Nicolas brings a wealth of experience to KPMG, having most recently served as Director of Talent Acquisition | Consulting at PwC Middle East. During his tenure of nearly three years, he led a team of 24 recruitment professionals, managing 800 hires annually across 12 countries in the Middle East. Nicolas spearheaded the implementation of advanced recruitment technologies, drove diversity and inclusion initiatives, and established a recruitment training academy, significantly enhancing operational efficiency.
Prior to PwC, Nicolas held the role of Talent Acquisition Manager at EDGE in Abu Dhabi, overseeing recruitment for the group’s 25 entities in the aerospace and defense sector. He also founded RECVOLT, a SaaS recruiting application, and led ND & Associates, an executive search firm specializing in senior-level roles in the Middle East.
Earlier in his career, Nicolas held recruitment leadership roles at Dubai Customs, du, and other organizations, where he demonstrated his ability to scale recruitment operations, reduce costs, and align talent acquisition with organizational growth strategies.
