Hollywood, Florida, United States, July 2025 — Nidia Barrios has taken on a new role as Vice President of People & Culture at AD1 Hospitality, marking a strategic elevation in her career after nearly a year and a half of leading people initiatives within the organization.
Nidia Barrios has been associated with AD1 Hospitality for approximately five years in various HR leadership roles. Prior to her promotion, she served as Corporate Director of People and Culture, where she played a key role in strengthening talent strategy, employee engagement, and HR operational excellence across the company. Earlier, she was Corporate HR & Recruiting Manager, overseeing HR processes for over 20 hotels and more than 600 employees, while driving improvements in recruitment, onboarding, and pre-opening operations.
Before joining AD1 Hospitality, she was Director of Talent Acquisition at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, where she led a high-performing team of onboarding specialists and crafted strategic job fair plans, diversity recruitment partnerships, and data-driven hiring metrics. Her tenure there helped transform the employer brand and streamline recruitment operations for a luxury hospitality environment.
Previously, she served as Director of Talent Acquisition at CareMax, Inc., managing the full recruitment lifecycle and leading a team of Talent Acquisition Business Partners. Her ability to drive strategic partnerships and leverage recruitment analytics contributed to more efficient hiring across the organization.
Earlier in her career, Nidia held multiple HR leadership roles at Banesco Banco Universal, Distribuidora Verines CA, and Inversiones Megaoffice 2001 C.A. where she demonstrated expertise in capability building, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and operational HR transformation. She also co-founded a retail business in Venezuela, bringing over a decade of entrepreneurial HR experience to her corporate roles.
