Nike Appoints Cimarron Nix as Chief Sustainability Officer

Beaverton, Oregon, United States, March 2026 — Nike, Inc. has appointed Cimarron Nix as Chief Sustainability Officer, reinforcing the company’s commitment to advancing sustainability and responsible manufacturing across its global operations.

In this role, Nix will lead Nike’s sustainability strategy, overseeing initiatives focused on responsible sourcing, environmental stewardship, and ethical supply chain practices as the company continues to integrate sustainability across its product innovation and manufacturing ecosystem.

Nix has been with Nike for more than nine years and most recently served as Vice President, Global Apparel and Accessories Manufacturing, where she led manufacturing strategy and operations for key product categories across global markets.

Earlier, she held the role of General Manager – Apparel and Accessories Partner Management for South Asia and EMEA, where she oversaw strategic partnerships with manufacturing partners across major production hubs and helped strengthen operational alignment across regions.

Prior to that, she served as Senior Director of Labor, Health & Safety, Sustainable Manufacturing & Sourcing, where she led initiatives focused on labor standards, worker well-being, and sustainable sourcing practices across Nike’s supply chain. She also previously served as Director of Labor, Sustainable Manufacturing and Sourcing, supporting responsible manufacturing frameworks and supplier engagement strategies.

Before joining Nike, Nix worked with Hewlett Packard Enterprise as Program Manager for Human Rights and Supply Chain Responsibility, and earlier at HP, where she managed global programs focused on labor standards, workplace safety, and supply chain responsibility.

Earlier in her career, she served as Manager of Social Responsibility at J.Crew, where she led corporate responsibility initiatives across the company’s sourcing operations.

She began her professional career in finance and corporate development, working as Senior Manager, Corporate Development at Level 3 Communications and earlier as an Investment Banking Analyst at Citigroup.

With extensive experience across sustainability strategy, supply chain responsibility, and ethical sourcing, Cimarron Nix brings deep expertise in advancing responsible business practices within complex global manufacturing ecosystems.
