Gurgaon, Haryana, India, November 2025 – Spark Foundry India, the newly launched entity under Publicis Media India, has appointed Niti Kumar as its Chief Executive Officer, marking a defining leadership move as the network strengthens its media agency portfolio in the country. With a proven record across media strategy, operations, digital transformation, communication leadership, and business growth, Niti will steer Spark Foundry India toward building high-impact, modern media solutions that align with Publicis Groupe’s global vision.
Before taking on the CEO role, Niti most recently served as Chief Operations Officer at Starcom, leading operational excellence, client strategy, business development, media planning frameworks, and strategic transformation initiatives. During her multi-year tenure, she built a solid foundation in driving scale, strengthening account management, and leading high-performing teams across India.
Prior to Starcom, Niti held a pivotal leadership mandate as Senior Vice President – Marketing, Digital and Communications at Penguin Random House India, where she shaped brand strategy, strengthened digital ecosystems, led marketing transformation, and enhanced the organisation’s communication architecture. Her role deepened her expertise across media planning, audience engagement, and strategic storytelling.
Her earlier experience includes impactful leadership as Managing Partner at MediaCom, where she spearheaded business growth, media strategy, and client leadership. She also served as General Manager for Mediacom India, and later as National Director – New Business and Insights at MediaCom, playing a central role in new business wins, insight-led planning, and cross-office strategy development.
In the foundational years of her career, Niti spent nearly eight years with the DDB Mudra Group, serving as Associate Vice President – North & East, where she handled leadership responsibilities for the Delhi and Kolkata offices. She also expanded her presence as a TEDx Speaker with TED Conferences, reflecting her strong communication, storytelling, and leadership presence that has shaped her industry recognition.
