Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2025 – Nupur Ajit D’souza has taken on a new leadership role as Head – Talent Management and Organisation Development at Cipla. In this strategic position, she will drive initiatives across talent management, organizational design, and job evaluation to shape the people and capability agenda at one of India’s most respected pharmaceutical companies.
Nupur joins Cipla after over two years at SUN PHARMA, where she served as Deputy General Manager – Human Resources. During her tenure, she led large-scale initiatives in organization design, people transformation, and talent management, significantly contributing to the company’s HR transformation and growth journey.
Prior to that, she spent more than three years at EY as a Senior Manager in People Advisory Services, where she specialized in talent management and organization development consulting. Her experience at EY included partnering with leading firms on large-scale transformation mandates, including capability assessments and operating model redesign.
Earlier in her career, she held impactful HR roles at RBL Bank, IndusInd Bank, and SBI General Insurance, managing OD, PMS, and HR strategy across varied sectors. She began her HR journey with Sitel Group and Citibank India, building a strong foundation in human resource operations and leadership.
