Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, October 2025 – James Douglas India has announced the appointment of Nupur Mehta as its new Managing Partner. Bringing with her more than a decade of expertise in leadership hiring, succession planning, and executive recruitment, Nupur will play a pivotal role in strengthening the firm’s leadership advisory and professional search capabilities while enabling organizations to unlock their leadership potential.
Prior to joining James Douglas India, Nupur was a Partner at Page Executive, where she focused on executive search mandates across industries, providing strategic counsel to business leaders.
Before that, she spent nearly 11 years at Michael Page, where she grew into leadership roles including Director – Healthcare, Technology & HR and Director – Healthcare & Technology. She headed the Healthcare & Life Sciences and Technology practices, managing complete P&L responsibilities and leading a team of consultants. She also contributed actively to the Page Group Global Shadow Executive Board, the India Technology Board, and the India Diversity & Inclusion Council, reflecting her strong commitment to shaping inclusive workplaces.
Her earlier roles at Michael Page included positions as Associate Director, Manager, Senior Consultant, and Consultant, where she built her expertise in healthcare, technology, and sales recruitment, working with Fortune 500 firms, Indian conglomerates, and startups.
Nupur began her professional journey as a Software Engineer at HCL Technologies before pursuing her MBA. She also completed a summer internship with Mercer, contributing to an All India Retirement Benefits Survey.
Nupur is an alumna of SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), where she earned her MBA in Human Resources.
