Olga Marakushina Appointed as Head of HR and Professional Development at Ernst & Young

Almaty, Kazakhstan, July 2024 – Olga Marakushina has been appointed as the Head of HR and Professional Development at Ernst & Young. In this new role, Olga will lead HR initiatives and professional development programs, focusing on enhancing employee engagement and driving organizational growth.

Olga Marakushina has been with Ernst & Young for a brief period. Prior to her current role, she held significant positions at Schneider Electric for over seven years. Most recently, she served as the HR BP for Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, where she managed HR functions across multiple countries, driving strategic HR initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Before this, Olga was a Human Resources Business Partner at Schneider Electric from July 2019 to July 2022, focusing on aligning HR strategies with business goals and enhancing employee satisfaction. She also served as an Administrative Manager from July 2016 to July 2019, where she led administrative operations, ensuring efficient processes and optimal support for business functions.

Olga’s earlier career includes a role as an Administrative Manager at Microsoft from August 2012 to June 2016 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. In this capacity, she managed administrative tasks, supporting the company’s operations and contributing to a productive work environment.

She also gained valuable experience as a Business Manager & Project Manager at The Royal Bank of Scotland and other notable companies from January 2007 to July 2012. Her diverse background across various industries has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of HR and business management.
