Brussels, Brussels-Capital Region, Belgium, May 2025 – Olivier Van Eesbeecq has been promoted to Chief Information Officer at Stibbe, marking a significant milestone in his distinguished career with the firm. In his new role, Olivier will lead the firm’s digital strategy and IT transformation, driving technological innovation and ensuring robust operational infrastructure across the organization’s legal and administrative functions.
With over 14 years at Stibbe, Olivier has played a pivotal role in modernizing the firm’s digital ecosystem as Head of ICT & Facilities. He spearheaded critical transformation initiatives, implemented business continuity frameworks, and oversaw security, cloud infrastructure, and facilities management. His leadership has contributed significantly to operational efficiency, innovation, and service quality across the firm’s Benelux presence.
Prior to his tenure at Stibbe, Olivier served as IS Manager for Europe & Asia at Howrey LLP, a global law firm known for its expertise in antitrust and litigation. During his time there, he was instrumental in supporting IT operations and infrastructure across multiple international offices, providing strategic oversight and service continuity.
Before that, he worked as ICT Manager Belgium at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, a global legal powerhouse. At Freshfields, Olivier led IT support and infrastructure initiatives at the Brussels office, ensuring high-quality service delivery for a complex and international client base.
Earlier in his career, Olivier gained foundational experience in roles with De Persgroep Publishing, Tiscali, MEDIALAAN (VMMa), and as a self-employed IT consultant, demonstrating versatility and expertise across the IT spectrum, from media to telecom and enterprise IT.
