Istanbul, Türkiye, December 2024 – Özge Korkmaz has joined Sipay as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In her new role, Özge will oversee all human resource functions, focusing on fostering a people-centric culture and driving organizational transformation to support Sipay’s innovative fintech offerings. Reporting directly to the senior leadership, she will align HR strategies with the company’s vision to continue its rapid global expansion and maintain its position as a leader in the fintech industry.
Prior to joining Sipay, Özge Korkmaz served as Senior Consultant at HR People Academy for one year. In this role, she designed and delivered HR programs, collaborated with universities on HR certification programs, and consulted with organizations to optimize their HR structures. Her contributions extended to developing comprehensive employee development programs that strengthened organizational capabilities.
Before HR People Academy, Özge held the position of Human Resources Director at Assets Group for one year. There, she established and led the HR department, overseeing a team of 14 professionals. She introduced cutting-edge initiatives like the Success Factors System and Inclusion, Diversity, and Belonging programs, alongside implementing the Leena AI chatbot system to streamline HR processes.
Earlier, Özge served at JLL in multiple roles over seven years, including Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Director for EMEA and Talent Management Director for EMEA. During her tenure, she led DEI initiatives across 24 countries and spearheaded global talent management processes, enhancing employee engagement and organizational efficiency. Her work in integrating DEI agendas and overseeing performance and mentoring systems contributed significantly to JLL’s recognition on the Bloomberg GEI Index.
In addition to these notable roles, Özge has worked with esteemed organizations such as Daikin Turkey, Cigna Insurance Services, Demsa Group, and MUDO, holding various leadership positions in human resources and organizational development. These experiences collectively span multiple industries and have cemented her expertise in HR strategy, talent acquisition, and employee engagement.
