Istanbul, Istanbul Province, Turkey, September 2025 – Ozge Ozbalaban Celik has been appointed as Chief Product and Business Development Officer at GönderAL Payment Services. In her new role, she will spearhead the company’s product innovation and business expansion strategies across domestic and international payment platforms, while driving GönderAL’s mission of delivering smart, scalable fintech solutions.
Prior to joining GönderAL, Ozge Ozbalaban Celik served for over three years as Head of Product at Papara, one of Turkey’s most disruptive digital finance platforms. During her tenure, she led end-to-end product development initiatives, scaling digital wallet experiences, launching innovative payment solutions, and enhancing financial accessibility for millions of users across the country.
Before Papara, she served as Executive Vice President at Birleşik Ödeme (Moka United) for nearly a year and a half, overseeing strategic growth, partner engagement, and digital product expansion. Her leadership was instrumental in solidifying Moka United’s market position within Turkey’s competitive fintech ecosystem.
She also had a remarkable 13+ year journey with BKM (Bankalararası Kart Merkezi – Interbank Card Center of Turkey), where she held multiple roles of increasing responsibility. Starting as a Business Development Specialist, she progressed to Product Manager, Vice President, and ultimately Senior Vice President of Business Development. Over this period, she helped shape the infrastructure of Turkey’s card payments landscape, driving national payment systems, ecosystem partnerships, and innovation in secure transactions.
Earlier in her career, she worked at Akbank TAS, one of Turkey’s largest banks, for over four years as System Development Manager, where she contributed to digital transformation initiatives, IT systems improvement, and core banking product enhancements.
