Currently serving as Chairman of the Governing Council of Business Excellence at Tata Sons, he has been instrumental in championing performance, quality, and leadership standards across Tata Group companies. His previous leadership roles include Chairman of Tata Power, Chairman of Tata Consulting Engineers, Group CHRO at Tata Sons, and Executive Director at Tata Power.
Padmanabhan’s distinguished 25-year tenure at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) includes executive roles such as Executive Director and Chief Human Resource Officer, Executive Vice President for Global Accounts, and CEO of the ASDC JV with Singapore Airlines. His international experience spans across regions including Switzerland, the USA, UK, Australia, and New Zealand, offering Tata Chemicals a global leadership perspective rooted in operational excellence and people-first thinking.
