London, United Kingdom, December 2024 – Paul Doherty has been promoted to Chief Commercial & Growth Officer at Venterra Group, where he will drive strategic growth initiatives, lead commercial operations, and support the company’s mission to advance the global energy transition through wind power.
Paul has been with Venterra Group since June 2022, serving as Executive Vice President – Engineering, where he led engineering operations across various renewable energy projects. His leadership and technical expertise have been pivotal in advancing Venterra’s innovative solutions in the wind services market.
In addition to his role at Venterra, Paul is an Executive Director at Ordtek Limited and Gavin & Doherty Geosolutions (GDG). At GDG, an international geotechnical engineering consultancy, Paul has contributed over 14 years of expertise in geotechnical analysis and offshore foundation design, working on groundbreaking projects across the North Sea, Irish Sea, and South China Sea.
Paul holds a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Civil Engineering from University College Dublin, where he specialized in offshore foundations and pile design.
