Greater Delhi Area, December 2024 – Sumit Marda has stepped into the role of Chief Growth Officer at Zeelab Pharmacy, India’s largest omnichannel generic pharmacy brand. In this position, Sumit will drive strategic growth initiatives focused on revenue enhancement, market expansion, and operational excellence, furthering Zeelab’s mission of making quality healthcare accessible and affordable for all.
Sumit brings over 15 years of entrepreneurial and strategic leadership experience to his new role. Prior to joining Zeelab Pharmacy, Sumit served as Business Head of Lenskart Academy, where he led initiatives to scale Lenskart’s training and educational programs, enhancing employee engagement and operational efficiency for four years.

Previously, he co-founded and served as CEO of MindHour, an EdTech startup revolutionizing K-12 learning. Under his leadership, MindHour launched its innovative Learning Management System, reaching over 120 schools, 40,000 students, and 2,000 teachers.
Sumit also founded MOOZ, a pulp-based fruit drink brand targeting rural India. His efforts in product development, pricing strategy, and distribution network design led to the brand’s rapid market acceptance, resulting in a successful exit.
Earlier in his career, Sumit revitalized his family business, Rajkamal Water Meter Manufacturing Co., achieving a 100% YOY growth over four years. His contributions included product innovation, international collaborations, and strategic partnerships with leading companies like L&T, TATA, and SAIL.
