Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, April 2026 — Niki Howells-Schramm has started a new position as Chief People and Culture Officer at Monash IVF Group, taking on a key leadership role in shaping the organization’s people strategy, culture, and workforce transformation.
In this role, Niki Howells-Schramm will lead the People and Culture function, focusing on strengthening organizational capability, enhancing employee experience, and aligning people strategies with the group’s mission of supporting individuals and families on their fertility journeys.
Prior to joining Monash IVF Group, she served as Chief People and Safety Officer at HealthShare Victoria, where she led workforce strategy and safety initiatives. Before that, she spent over three years with Victoria Police, holding senior roles including Director – Business Partnering and Workplace Relations and Acting Executive Director, Human Resources Command, driving large-scale HR operations and workforce transformation.
Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at Healthscope as General Manager – Workplace Relations Complex Cases and Change, and at Eastern Health as Director Workplace Relations, where she led complex employee relations and organizational change programs. Her experience also includes roles with the Australian Medical Association (Victoria), Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and APESMA, building deep expertise in workplace relations, industrial advocacy, and HR strategy.
Niki Howells-Schramm has also served as President of the Industrial Relations Society of Victoria, reflecting her strong influence in the industrial relations and HR community.
Her extensive experience across healthcare, public sector, and industrial relations positions her well to lead Monash IVF Group’s people agenda at a time of continued growth and impact.
