Toronto, Ontario, Canada, August 2024 — Paul McIntyre has officially taken on the role of Director of Health Safety and Environment at Vale Base Metals. With an extensive background in safety leadership and SIF prevention, Paul will be instrumental in furthering Vale’s commitment to safety excellence and sustainable development. His expertise in executive coaching, leadership development, and safety management systems will be critical in enhancing workplace safety across Vale’s global operations.
Paul McIntyre most recently served as Vice President – Exec. Consultant – Safety Leadership & Culture; SIF Prevention & Executive Coaching at Krause Bell Group. Over nearly five years, Paul delivered research-driven safety services to leaders at all organizational levels, enhancing learning and continuous improvement in preventing serious injuries and fatalities (SIFs) in the workplace.
Prior to Krause Bell Group, Paul held several key positions at Worley, including Group Director – Talent Management and Global Head of HR. His strategic leadership was pivotal in aligning the HR functions with business goals, delivering effective people strategies, and enhancing organizational performance.
Paul also served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Reliance Industries Limited during a nine-month secondment from BP. Here, he provided executive leadership and change management to the hydrocarbons businesses, embedding a sustainable HR transformation agenda.
Earlier in his career, Paul had a distinguished tenure at BP in various leadership roles, including Global Vice President – Head of Resourcing & HR Function Capability. His contributions were instrumental in developing BP’s resourcing strategy and driving HR capability across the global function.
