Nashville, Tennessee, United States, April 2026 — Quorum Health has welcomed Paul Novak as Chief Information Officer, marking an important leadership addition for the organization as it continues to strengthen technology-enabled healthcare delivery and hospital operations. He brings more than 25 years of information technology leadership experience, with a strong track record in digital strategy, operational transformation, and IT leadership across complex healthcare and enterprise environments. In his new role at Quorum Health, he is leading the company’s technology, data, and AI journey to improve care delivery and hospital operations.
Before joining Quorum Health, Paul Novak served as Segment CIO at CenterWell, following his role as Chief Information Officer for Humana’s CenterWell Home Solutions segment. Prior to that, he spent several years with Community Health Systems, where he served as Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and later as Executive Technology Advisor. These roles reflect a strong progression across senior technology leadership in healthcare.
He has also held governance and advisory roles, including TN HIMSS Board Director at the Tennessee HIMSS Chapter, Board Member at C2C, and College of Computing and Technology Advisory Board Member at Lipscomb University. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President of IT at A. O. Smith Corporation, President at NovaCon Solutions, Inc., IT Senior Director at Target, Global SAP Director at Ecolab, and Senior Manager at Accenture. His broad leadership journey spans healthcare, manufacturing, retail, consulting, and enterprise technology transformation.
Academically, Paul Novak earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. With experience spanning Quorum Health, CenterWell, Community Health Systems, A. O. Smith Corporation, NovaCon Solutions, Inc., Target, Ecolab, and Accenture, he brings a rich and well-rounded technology leadership profile to his new role. His appointment is expected to support Quorum Health’s continued focus on operational excellence, digital transformation, and community-centered healthcare delivery.
