Australia, September 2024 – Paula Holden has begun her new role as the Chief People Officer (CPO) at The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), a pivotal organization setting the standards for general practice in Australia. In her role, Paula will oversee the strategic development of human resources, fostering a culture of excellence and inclusion within the organization.
Before joining RACGP, Paula Holden served as the Chief People Officer at C&K – The Creche and Kindergarten Association for approximately two years. During her tenure, she led HR strategies focused on employee development, stakeholder engagement, and strategic leadership, significantly impacting the organization’s people-centric initiatives across Queensland.
Paula also held the position of Chief People Officer at Key Assets (Australia) for about one and a half years, where she was responsible for shaping the HR landscape through talent management, workforce planning, and employee engagement. Her leadership contributed to HR operational success and workforce transformation.
In addition to her executive HR roles, Paula has served as the Chair at Footprints Community since October 2023, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities in Queensland and New South Wales. Paula also holds a long-standing Non-Executive Director position at Orange Sky Australia, where she has been active for nearly five years, providing strategic oversight and governance.
Further back in her career, Paula worked at Endeavour Foundation as the Executive General Manager People and Culture/CPO for approximately three years, where she led strategic HR initiatives, driving cultural transformation and workforce development to align with the organization’s mission and growth objectives.
Earlier in her career, Paula gained diverse experience in leadership roles at Spinal Life Australia Ltd and Corporate Protection Australia Group, where she played an instrumental role in human resources management, employee well-being programs, and organizational development.
