Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, March 2025 – Penny Henderson has stepped into her new role as Head of People and Culture – Battery Recycling at Livium Ltd (ASX:LIT), a company committed to building a circular battery materials industry to accelerate global electrification. In this pivotal leadership position, Penny will play a central role in shaping Livium’s people strategy across its fast-growing battery recycling division, aligning talent initiatives with the company’s sustainability goals and national expansion plans.
Penny brings with her over 15 years of strategic HR experience, most recently serving as Head of Talent (People Operations & Employee Experience) at MLC Life Insurance. Over nearly six years, she led initiatives across the employee lifecycle, contributing significantly to operational efficiency, employee engagement, and cultural transformation across the business.

Prior to that, Penny held the position of Talent Acquisition Manager at ME Bank, where she spearheaded talent strategies in a rapidly evolving banking environment. She also served as Senior Regional Talent Advisor – APAC at Randstad Sourceright, delivering recruitment solutions for clients across the Asia-Pacific region.
Earlier in her career, Penny held senior HR and talent roles at News Corp Australia and Orica, contributing to national talent frameworks and transformation projects. Her HR foundation was built through roles at Hudson and Lander & Rogers, equipping her with deep expertise in both agency and in-house HR functions.
