Des Moines, Iowa, United States, March 2026 — People Inc. has promoted Shauna (O’Grady) Meany to Director, Talent Acquisition. In her new role, Meany will lead talent acquisition strategy and execution, strengthening hiring outcomes and candidate experience as the organization continues to scale across its digital and print publishing portfolio.
Meany has been with People Inc. for the past nine months, most recently serving as Associate Director, Talent Acquisition. With the company’s transition to People Inc. (the new name of Dotdash Meredith as of July 31, 2025), she has supported talent programs spanning key business areas and helped build stronger alignment across recruiting processes and the broader HR ecosystem.
Prior to this promotion, Meany built a steady progression within Dotdash Meredith, moving through Talent Acquisition Manager, Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, and then Associate Director, Talent Acquisition. Across these roles, she led recruiter teams hiring across content, commerce, revenue, marketing, and corporate functions, partnered with leaders to define evolving talent needs, and supported diversity-focused recruiting strategies and initiatives to broaden pipelines and improve hiring outcomes.
Before joining Dotdash Meredith, Meany worked with Meredith Corporation as a Talent Recruiter, where she executed full-cycle recruiting for editorial roles, expanded candidate pipelines with a focus on diversity through sourcing and partnerships, and built strong hiring manager relationships across multiple brands while supporting consistent recruiting practices.
Earlier in her career, she gained experience across higher education and career services with The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business and The University of Iowa Center for Advancement, contributing to career coaching, employer engagement, data reporting, stewardship initiatives, and large-scale program coordination—foundations that continue to inform her people-centric approach to talent and candidate experience.
