Hyderabad, Telangana, India, December 2025 — Phani Rajiv Tilak Julakanti has joined Aditya Birla Management Corporation Pvt Ltd as General Manager – Group Corporate Affairs. In this role, he will be responsible for advancing the Group’s corporate affairs, government relations, policy advocacy, and external stakeholder engagement, supporting the Aditya Birla Group’s strategic priorities across India and global markets.

Immediately prior to joining Aditya Birla Management Corporation Pvt. Ltd., Phani Rajiv Tilak Julakanti served for over three years as Head – FICCI Telangana State Council at FICCI, based in Hyderabad. In this role, he led industry–government engagement, policy dialogue, and advocacy initiatives, working closely with state and central government stakeholders, industry leaders, and institutions to strengthen Telangana’s industrial and economic ecosystem.

Earlier, he spent over five years with Johnson & Johnson in Worldwide Government Affairs & Policy roles, where he handled corporate affairs, government relations, policy advisory, public diplomacy, compliance, and crisis management. His responsibilities included external stakeholder engagement with political leaders, bureaucrats, industry chambers, and federations, supporting business continuity and regulatory alignment across markets.

Between his tenures at Johnson & Johnson, Phani Rajiv Tilak Julakanti also worked with Amazon as Program Manager – Compliance, focusing on government relations, licensing, and regulatory approvals in India. He further strengthened his corporate affairs and public policy experience at Walmart, where he handled government relations, policy advocacy, media relations, communications, and crisis management.

Earlier in his career, he built a strong foundation in industry representation and stakeholder engagement through multiple roles at FICCI, including Assistant Director, and as Deputy Representative – Hyderabad at NBSO India. He began his professional journey in HR and corporate roles at TGV Infosystems Pvt. Limited, developing early exposure to organizational and people management.

Phani Rajiv Tilak Julakanti holds an MBA in HR & Marketing from Sri Venkateswara University, completed between 1998 and 2000.
