Berlin, Germany, July 2024 – Philipp Hepp has been appointed as the new Chief Human Resources Officer at ENGIE Deutschland. Bringing extensive experience in HR and legal affairs, Philipp will now lead the human resources strategy and operations for the company.
Philipp Hepp has been with ENGIE Deutschland for over two years, previously serving as the Head of Human Resources Operations, Deputy CHRO, and Prokurist. In this role, he was responsible for HR operations, strategic HR initiatives, and serving as a deputy to the CHRO.
Before joining ENGIE Deutschland, Philipp held significant roles at Storengy Deutschland, where he served as a Member of the Management Board and Prokurist, leading the HR and Legal departments. His leadership was instrumental in driving the company’s HR and legal strategies.
Philipp’s earlier career includes various legal counsel positions at ENGIE Deutschland and its predecessor entities, such as GDF Suez Energie Deutschland AG and Gaz de France Energy Deutschland GmbH. His roles involved providing legal expertise and supporting the company’s energy management and trading operations in both Germany and France.
Philipp also gained experience in the public sector, having worked with the Petition Committee of the German Parliament.
