CLEARWATER, Fla., USA — PODS Enterprises, LLC, a leader in the portable moving and storage industry, is proud to announce the promotion of Jordon Jones to Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Since 2022, Jones has served as Vice President of Global Financial Planning & Analysis at PODS, playing a pivotal role in steering the company’s financial strategy.

Jordon Jones steps into his new role with over two decades of finance expertise, having significantly contributed to the financial oversight and strategic planning at PODS. “Jordon’s deep expertise in strategic planning and business operations uniquely positions him to lead PODS’ resource strategy and execution,” remarked Kathy Marinello, President and CEO of PODS. “We are excited about Jordon’s expanded responsibilities and look forward to his exceptional leadership and guidance as we continue to drive growth and support our customers.”

Extensive Background in Finance and Operations

Before his tenure at PODS, Jones was the Chief Financial Officer of YouFit Gyms, where he managed the financial operations across 80 locations. His extensive experience also includes nearly a decade at Hertz, where he held significant roles in finance and sales, contributing to major account revenue and overseeing corporate development and financial planning.

Role and Expectations

As CFO, Jones is set to oversee all financial aspects of the company, including strategy and planning, operations, treasury and cash management, tax, accounts payable and receivable, and internal controls. His leadership is expected to enhance PODS’ ability to drive profitable revenue growth and achieve margin expansion across its operations.

Matthew Breitfelder is Partner and Global Head of Human Capital at Apollo, where he focuses on attracting extraordinary talent to the firm and creating an innovative, inclusive, high-performance culture that brings out the best in Apollo’s people. Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Matt is committed to expanding opportunities across Apollo’s workplace, marketplace, and communities. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
