Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, December 2024 – Prakash Babu has been promoted to the role of Managing Director at Wells Fargo. In this elevated position, Prakash will oversee key operations and drive strategic growth initiatives for the company in India and the Philippines.
Prakash has been an integral part of Wells Fargo for over four years. Most recently, he served as India and Philippines Head of Operations – Wealth and Investment Management, a role where he spearheaded operational excellence and leadership across two critical regions. Prior to that, he was the India Head – Wealth and Investment Management, contributing significantly to the organization’s regional success.

Before joining Wells Fargo, Prakash held prominent roles at Goldman Sachs for over 15 years. As Vice President | Operations Senior Leader, he led critical securities operations and strategic initiatives in India. He also served as Vice President in Securities Operations for nine years, where his expertise in operations and leadership earned him recognition as a trusted senior leader. Earlier in his career, Prakash worked as an Associate at Goldman Sachs, strengthening his foundational expertise in securities operations.
