Aditya M. appointed as CEO – Food Ordering and Delivery Business at Eternal

Gurugram, Haryana, India, July 2025 — Eternal, the foodtech major behind brands like Blinkit, Hyperpure, and Zomato, has appointed Aditya M. as Chief Executive Officer of its Food Ordering and Delivery business, marking a strategic leadership transition within the group. Aditya succeeds Rakesh Ranjan, who completed a two-year stint in the role and stepped down as a Senior Management Personnel (SMP) on July 6.

Aditya’s appointment as CEO, along with his designation as SMP, reflects Eternal’s commitment to nurturing internal leadership and advancing its mission to serve life as it happens. Based in Gurugram, he will lead the company’s flagship vertical focused on enabling delightful, reliable food delivery experiences at scale.

Aditya joined Eternal in 2021 and has held a series of pivotal roles that have shaped the evolution of the food delivery platform. Most recently, he served as Head of Product – Food Delivery, where he oversaw product innovation across consumer, merchant, and logistics teams. Before that, he served as Head of Supply and Head of Customer Experience, contributing significantly to marketplace optimization, partner enablement, and customer delight.

Prior to joining Eternal, Aditya held leadership roles at WheelsEye, Woo – Dating App, nearbuy.com, and HCL Technologies, where he led product strategy, business transformation, and digital innovation initiatives. He also worked at Bloomberg in New York as a Financial Software Developer, bringing a strong foundation in product development and engineering.

Aditya holds a Post Graduate Programme in Management from the Indian School of Business (ISB), where he was a recipient of the Torchbearer Award, and a Master of Science in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University. He also earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT).

His diverse experience across technology, customer engagement, and marketplace design positions him to lead Eternal’s food delivery business into its next phase of innovation, growth, and customer-centric excellence.

Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Matt is committed to expanding opportunities across Apollo’s workplace, marketplace, and communities. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
