Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, October 2025 — Prakashan Manikoth has been appointed as Group Chief Financial Officer (Group CFO) at VerSe Innovation, the AI-powered local language technology platform and parent company of Dailyhunt and Josh. In his new role, Prakashan will lead VerSe Innovation’s global finance function, overseeing strategic financial planning, risk management, and operational excellence to drive the company’s sustained growth and profitability across its digital and AI ecosystems.
Prakashan joins VerSe Innovation from LeadSquared, where he served as Chief Financial Officer, successfully leading finance transformation programs and enabling financial scalability. His contributions were instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the company’s expansion in global markets.
Before his tenure at LeadSquared, Prakashan spent over nine years at Wipro Limited, where he held several leadership positions, including Finance Transformation Leader for Project Quantum and Finance Head for Product and Platform Businesses. In these roles, he spearheaded enterprise-wide automation initiatives, managed finance operations for strategic business units, and strengthened financial governance frameworks.
His career spans over two decades, with extensive finance leadership roles at Tata Consultancy Services, Tata Teleservices, Kennametal, Saud Bahwan Group, and Ircon International Ltd. Across these organizations, he led business restructuring, project finance, and automation initiatives that delivered measurable value and operational excellence.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, where he completed his Executive Programme in Business Administration and Management, Prakashan is also a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. His strategic vision and depth of financial expertise are expected to play a pivotal role in reinforcing VerSe Innovation’s leadership as a global technology-driven enterprise.
