Seattle, Washington, United States, June 2026 — Henrik Smith has been appointed as Chief Information Security Officer at Infoblox. Smith brings nearly 30 years of security leadership experience across enterprise security, cyber resilience, risk management, cloud security, product security, security engineering, compliance automation, and global security strategy. In his new role, he will lead Infoblox’s global enterprise security strategy, with a focus on strengthening cyber resilience, advancing risk management, and supporting secure business growth.
Prior to joining Infoblox, Smith served at Amazon as Head of Devices and Services Security – Director of Security Engineering, where he acted as CISO for the Amazon consumer devices ecosystem. He led a large security organization across multiple product lines, securing hundreds of millions of devices while driving risk prioritization, cost optimization, and AI/ML-led security product development.
Earlier, he held senior security leadership roles at Salesforce, including VP Security, Head of BISO, Risk Operations & Product Security Leader, where he built the Business Information Security Officer organization, established a Risk Operations Center, and strengthened enterprise risk reporting and security governance.
Before Salesforce, Smith spent over five years with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in multiple leadership roles, including Principal – Office of the CISO, AWS Security, Principal – Security Assurance, Security Specialist Solutions Architect, and Enterprise Solutions Architect – Security and Compliance. During this period, he advised enterprise customers on security transformation, compliance automation, DevSecOps, container security, and cloud security architecture.
His earlier career includes leadership and technical roles at nGenx Corporation, DGC, DGC Bradata AB, Swedish Road Administration, and TietoEnator, where he built deep expertise in security consulting, virtualization, systems administration, government infrastructure security, penetration testing, forensics, and secure technology architecture.
With his extensive experience across global security leadership, cloud security, cyber risk, enterprise resilience, product security, and AI-enabled security innovation, Smith is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening Infoblox’s security posture and protecting the critical networks its customers rely on.
