Bengaluru, India, June 2026 – Razorpay has announced the elevation of Anvay Nagarkatti to the role of Vice President, Human Resources, marking another significant milestone in his four-year journey with the fintech company.
Sharing the news, Nagarkatti reflected on Razorpay’s rapid evolution, noting that each year at the company has felt like joining a new organization due to its continuous growth, scale, and ambition. In his new role, he will partner closely with business leaders, help shape performance and rewards strategies, strengthen compensation philosophies, and explore the growing impact of artificial intelligence on the future of work, employee growth, and workforce effectiveness.
Anvay Nagarkatti has built an accomplished career spanning nearly two decades across human resources, compensation and benefits, HR business partnering, rewards strategy, talent management, and organizational effectiveness.
Since joining Razorpay in 2022, he has held a series of progressive leadership roles. He began as Associate Director – HR Business Partner, before being promoted to Director – Human Resources, followed by Senior Director – Human Resources, and now Vice President, Human Resources. During this period, he has played a key role in supporting Razorpay’s rapid growth journey, strengthening people practices, partnering with business leaders, and helping scale the organization’s talent and performance management capabilities.
Prior to Razorpay, Nagarkatti served with Flipkart as Associate Director – HR Business Partner and earlier as Senior Manager – HR Business Partner, supporting business functions through talent strategy, organizational development, workforce planning, and people initiatives in one of India’s leading e-commerce organizations.
Before Flipkart, he spent more than three years with Fidelity Investments, where he held leadership positions in compensation and rewards, including Senior Manager – Compensation & Benefits and Manager – Compensation. His work focused on compensation strategy, rewards frameworks, benefits programs, and workforce effectiveness.
Earlier, Nagarkatti worked with Goldman Sachs, where he served as Associate – Executive Compensation in London and Associate – Compensation, gaining global exposure to executive rewards, compensation governance, and performance-linked remuneration programs within the financial services sector.
He began his corporate HR journey with Accenture, spending more than six years in roles spanning compensation and benefits as well as HR business partnering. This experience provided him with a strong foundation in talent management, rewards strategy, workforce planning, and organizational development.
Nagarkatti is an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, one of India’s premier institutions for management and human resources education.
