Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India, January 2025 – Pranav Kumar has been appointed as the Head of Human Resources at Tata Motors in Jamshedpur, bringing extensive leadership experience in human resources, employee relations, and corporate social responsibility.
Pranav has been with Tata Motors for nearly eight years, most recently serving as Head of Human Resources for the Heavy Commercial Vehicles division in Pune. His expertise includes employee lifecycle management, CSR, sustainability, and workforce planning. Prior to this, he held key leadership roles such as General Manager – Employee Relations & CSR and Deputy General Manager – Employee Relations & CSR at Tata Motors in Pune and Lucknow.
Before joining Tata Motors, Pranav served as General Manager HR, ER & Admin at TATA AutoComp Systems Ltd., where he led talent acquisition, performance management, and workforce planning strategies for nearly nine years. Earlier in his career, he held plant-level HR leadership roles at KLT Automotive, Arihant Autocomponents Ltd., and Achal Industries.
