In his new role, Prasad Bagde will lead the overall human resources agenda for Chitale Bandhu, overseeing workforce strategy, organizational development, and people practices aligned with the company’s manufacturing-led, automation-driven growth model. He will be based in Pune, Maharashtra, working closely with business and leadership teams across functions.

Prior to joining Chitale Bandhu, Bagde spent over eight years with Bauli Group, where he held senior leadership roles including Director – HR, India Business and Head of HR. During his tenure, he supported the India business across onboarding, performance management, settlements, and HR operations, contributing to the organization’s people systems during a phase of sustained growth in the packaged foods sector.

Earlier in his career, Bagde worked with Mondelēz International as Factory HR Manager, where he supported HR operations at the manufacturing level within the FMCG ecosystem. His experience spans factory HR, business HR leadership, and India-wide people management in complex, operations-heavy environments.

About Chitale Bandhu

Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale, established in 1950, is one of India’s most respected manufacturers of sweets, snacks, savouries, and ready-to-eat products, with a strong presence across retail, general trade, modern trade, and export markets. Deeply rooted in quality, tradition, and customer trust, the brand exports to markets across the European Union, USA, Southeast Asia, Australia, and the Gulf.

With over 250 products across sweets and savouries, Chitale Bandhu is known for its pioneering approach to automation, including becoming the first company in India to machine-produce Bakarwadi in 1996. As the brand enters its 75th anniversary, marked by Sachin Tendulkar as brand ambassador, it continues to blend tradition with modern manufacturing, global expansion, and innovation.
