Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, March 2026 – Waaree Group has appointed Abhishek Pareek as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), marking a significant leadership milestone as the company continues to strengthen its financial strategy and scale its global renewable energy footprint.
In his new role, Abhishek will oversee financial strategy, capital allocation, governance, and business performance, supporting Waaree’s ambitious growth plans across solar manufacturing, green hydrogen, and energy infrastructure.
At Waaree Group, Abhishek Pareek has built a strong and progressive leadership journey spanning over eight years, culminating in his appointment as CFO. Most recently, he served as Group Head – Finance, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening financial operations and driving strategic decision-making at the group level.
Prior to this, he held the role of Group Financial Controller, where he led financial planning, reporting, and control mechanisms, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance across the organization.
He also served as Chief Financial Officer for the Manufacturing vertical at Waaree, where he contributed to scaling manufacturing operations and enhancing financial performance in a high-growth business environment.
Earlier in his journey at Waaree, he worked as Financial Controller, building a strong foundation in financial governance, reporting, and project management within the organization.
Before joining Waaree, Abhishek served as CFO at SHUBHALAKSHMI POLYESTERS LTD and BOTHRA METALS AND ALLOYS LIMITED, where he led finance functions and contributed to business growth and financial stability.
He began his career as an Auditor at K.K. Chhajer & Co. and later worked as a Financial Advisor at Finex Services, developing core expertise in finance, auditing, and advisory.
Abhishek is a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a PhD in Corporate Finance from Xaviers Institute of Business Management Studies, reflecting his strong academic and professional foundation in finance.
