Hyderabad, Telangana, India, July 2025 — AMR India Limited has announced the appointment of Prasad DLR as its new Chief Executive Officer. In this leadership role, Prasad will be steering the company’s strategic vision across its core verticals of mining, irrigation, water, and infrastructure projects, while working to strengthen innovation and operational excellence.
Prior to taking over as CEO, Prasad DLR was associated with DLR Projects as Principal, where he spent nearly eight years mentoring teams, driving innovation, and implementing customized technologies in mining operations. Concurrently, he served as Adviser, Minerals, Metals & Mining to the Government of Andhra Pradesh, supporting the AP Mineral Development Corporation on strategic initiatives.
Before this, Prasad had a distinguished career with the Adani Group. As President at Adani Enterprises – Mining & Integrated Coal Management, he led key operations including mine planning, coal processing, project delivery, and performance management. He also served as Director of Mines at Adani Australia, overseeing a $5 billion coal mining project, managing both open-cast and underground mining operations under the Coal Mine Safety and Health Act in Queensland.
Earlier in his career, he made a significant impact at The Singareni Collieries Company Ltd, where he held senior roles such as Director of Planning and Projects and Chief General Manager – Corporate Planning & Projects, directly contributing to India’s coal production and strategic mining development over a 10-year tenure.
With over three decades of industry experience and a proven track record in both the public and private sectors, Prasad’s appointment signals AMR India Limited’s commitment to scaling new heights of growth and innovation.
