Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2025 – Prashant Chauhan has taken on the role of Chief Information Officer at Tata Capital Housing Finance Limited (TCHFL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Capital Limited. In his new capacity, Prashant will lead the company’s technology strategy, digital transformation, and enterprise architecture initiatives to strengthen TCHFL’s position in the housing finance ecosystem.
Prior to this elevation, Prashant Chauhan served for nearly a decade at Tata Capital, holding progressive leadership roles including Deputy Vice President, Associate Vice President, Assistant Vice President, and Senior Manager. During this tenure, he led digital lending platform development, technology strategy, CRM implementations, and fintech partnerships, working across home loans, corporate platforms, and SME-focused innovations. His contributions were instrumental in shaping Tata Capital’s digital strategy, leveraging emerging technologies like OCEN, Account Aggregator, and GST Sahay.
Before joining Tata Capital, Prashant worked at Reliance Capital | Reliance Group for nearly five years as Manager, where he was responsible for program management, digital commerce, product planning, analytics integration, and mobility initiatives. His role encompassed technology selection, architecture design, and e-commerce platform enablement—key areas that supported innovation and scalability in digital initiatives.
Earlier in his journey, Prashant also ventured into entrepreneurship with a short stint as the Founder of Weekend Breakfast, where he explored new-age business models. His foundational experience in strategic planning, analytics, and digital commerce further shaped his expertise in building tech-led financial platforms.
