Prashant Nag appointed as Chief Operating & Medical Officer at Redcliffe Labs

New Delhi, Delhi, India, May 2025 — Prashant Nag has taken on the role of Chief Operating & Medical Officer at Redcliffe Labs, where he will oversee clinical operations, quality governance, regulatory compliance, and medical innovation. Backed by over two decades of expertise in the diagnostics industry, Dr. Nag brings a deep understanding of clinical excellence and operational strategy to his new position.

An alumnus of AIIMS, New Delhi, with an MD in Pathology from Government Medical College, Surat, Dr. Nag has previously held key leadership roles across prominent diagnostic organizations in India. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Tata 1mg Diagnostics, where he successfully led nationwide operations, ensuring rigorous adherence to NABL and CAP accreditation standards, optimizing supply chains, and managing expansive teams of pathologists, microbiologists, and phlebotomists.

Earlier in his career, he held roles such as Zonal Head at Sterling Accuris Diagnostics, and Chief Consultant, Dept of Laboratory Medicine at Focus Imaging & Research Center, in addition to serving as Consultant Pathologist at Oncquest Laboratories Ltd. and Senior Resident at AIIMS, New Delhi. Each of these positions underscored his commitment to diagnostic quality, team leadership, and continuous improvement in clinical practices.

In his new capacity, Dr. Nag will work closely with Aditya Kandoi, Founder & CEO of Redcliffe Labs, to strengthen infrastructure and elevate clinical trust across Redcliffe’s national network. His mandate includes enhancing patient-centric diagnostic offerings while steering innovation and improving turnaround times to meet the evolving needs of patients and healthcare providers.

With Redcliffe Labs’ presence across more than 220 cities, a network of 80+ advanced labs, and over 2,000 collection centers, Dr. Nag’s appointment reflects the company’s commitment to expanding its impact and delivering high-quality, accessible diagnostic solutions to every corner of India.
