Kolkata, West Bengal, India, September 2025 – IAC Electricals Pvt. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of Extra High Voltage (EHV) overhead transmission line hardware and accessories, has appointed Pratap Chandra Panda as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In his new role, Panda will lead strategic HR initiatives, industrial relations, employee engagement, and organizational transformation to support the company’s growth trajectory.
Prior to joining IAC Electricals, Panda was associated with Thriveni EarthMovers Pvt. Ltd. as Group CHRO, where he oversaw plant HR operations, talent acquisition, industrial relations, and HR transformation. His leadership was instrumental in driving employee engagement and managing organizational change across the company’s operations.
Before that, he served as Regional HR Head at Kurlon Enterprise Limited, managing HR operations across two manufacturing plants in Bhubaneswar. His role focused on recruitment strategies, statutory compliance, government liaison, and effective labor union management, strengthening both plant and sales operations.
Earlier, at Thriveni EarthMovers Pvt. Ltd., Panda worked as Head – HR and IR Manager, where he played a pivotal role in mines setup, CSR initiatives, and employee engagement. His expertise in industrial relations and labor law compliance contributed significantly to ensuring smooth operational environments.
Previously, he held leadership positions at Misrilall Mines Pvt. Ltd. as Manager – HR & Admin, and at Ferro Alloys Corporation Ltd. (FACOR) as Assistant Manager – P&A, where he built expertise in CSR, statutory compliance, and employee welfare. Panda also served as Deputy Manager – HR Corporate at PJ Minerals International Pvt. Ltd. and Assistant Manager – HR & Administration at Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited, handling HR operations, compliance, and organizational development.
He began his career with Career Plan as Lead – Talent Acquisition, where over eight years, he developed innovative recruitment strategies and built strong hiring processes aligned with organizational growth goals.
Panda is currently pursuing a Post Graduate program in Emerging CHRO – Strategic HR from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore (2024–2025). He has also completed an Executive Development Program in HRM, PM & IR from XLRI Jamshedpur and a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management from IIM Raipur.
