Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2026 —Prateek Jain has started his new role as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at IREP Credit Capital, marking a significant milestone in his dynamic HR leadership journey within the banking and financial services sector.
In his new role, Prateek will lead the overall people strategy at IREP Credit Capital, focusing on building a strong talent foundation, strengthening HR governance, enhancing employee engagement, and aligning human capital initiatives with the organization’s mission of advancing financial inclusion for MSMEs across South India.
Prior to joining IREP Credit Capital, Prateek spent over nine years at IndusInd Bank, where he progressed through multiple leadership roles across regions. Most recently, he served as Deputy Vice President 2 (Associate HR Partner – Lead COE), playing a pivotal role in framing and strengthening HR practices across geographies. He was actively involved in major HR projects and strategic initiatives for Retail Assets Business Units across West and South India.
Earlier at IndusInd Bank, he served as Deputy Vice President 1 (Zonal HR Partner) across Bengaluru and Ahmedabad, and previously as Assistant Vice President (Zonal HR Partner) and Chief Manager (RHR – Branch Banking), where he led HR operations for large regional networks, supporting extensive branch footprints and workforce bases.
Before IndusInd Bank, Prateek held key HR leadership roles at Equitas Small Finance Bank, PNB MetLife India Insurance Co. Ltd, and SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd, managing regional HR responsibilities across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. His early career also includes roles at Reliance Life Insurance Limited and ETV Network (Ushodaya Enterprises Pvt. Ltd.), where he built strong foundations in HR operations, compliance, talent acquisition, and employee engagement.
With nearly two decades of progressive experience across banking, insurance, and financial services, Prateek’s appointment underscores IREP Credit Capital’s commitment to strengthening its people leadership as it scales its mission-driven growth strategy.
