Muscat, Oman, December 2025 – Primit Joseph has taken on a new role as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at McDonald’s Oman, marking a significant milestone in his technology leadership journey within the McDonald’s ecosystem. In this role, Primit will lead the organization’s IT and digital strategy, supporting business growth, operational excellence, and enhanced customer and employee experiences across the Oman market.
Primit Joseph has been associated with McDonald’s for over eight years, steadily progressing through technology leadership roles across the Middle East. Most recently, he served as Information Technology Manager based in the United Arab Emirates, where he led enterprise network architecture, cloud integration, and IT service management initiatives, contributing to scalable and resilient technology operations.
Prior to this, he worked as an Information Technology Business Consultant with McDonald’s, partnering closely with business teams to translate operational needs into technology-enabled solutions. His earlier roles as Senior IT Coordinator and IT Coordinator further strengthened his expertise in retail technology operations, infrastructure management, and digital enablement across multiple geographies.
Primit began his professional journey as a Junior Engineer at Asianet Satellite Communications Ltd., building a strong foundation in technology systems and network operations. Across his career, he has demonstrated a consistent ability to align global technology frameworks with local business needs.
In his current role as CIO, Primit is responsible for managing day-to-day IT operations, leading new store technology rollouts across Oman, driving data-driven business insights, strengthening digital capabilities, and implementing McDonald’s global technology strategies with local precision.
Primit Joseph holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Organizational Leadership from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, equipping him with a strong blend of business acumen and leadership capability alongside his deep technical expertise.
