Muttenz, Switzerland, December 2025 – Priya Thaman has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Clariant, effective immediately. The appointment was announced by Conrad Keijzer, Chief Executive Officer of Clariant, following Priya’s successful tenure as Interim CHRO since June 2025. In her expanded role, Priya will lead Clariant’s global people strategy, strengthening talent, leadership, culture, and organizational transformation as the company advances its purpose-led growth agenda.
Priya Thaman joined Clariant in 2022 and has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s talent and culture agenda. As Global Head – Talent and Culture, she led enterprise-wide initiatives spanning talent acquisition, leadership development, employee engagement, DEI strategy, succession planning, and cultural transformation. During this period, she helped design and execute Clariant’s cultural roadmap, providing clarity and momentum during a phase of significant organizational change.
In June 2025, Priya assumed the role of Interim Chief Human Resources Officer, where she provided stability and continuity during a critical leadership transition. Her leadership was instrumental in aligning people priorities with business performance, reinforcing Clariant’s leadership pipeline, and embedding inclusive, performance-driven behaviors across the organization.
With over 14 years of international HR leadership experience, Priya brings deep expertise in talent strategy, organizational design, and enterprise transformation. Her career reflects a consistent focus on building high-performance cultures, strengthening leadership capability, and enabling organizations to navigate complexity and change.
Complementing her professional journey, Priya has pursued advanced executive education at London Business School, including programs on HR Strategy in Transforming Organizations and Women in Leadership, and holds an MBA from the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad.
