Pune, Maharashtra, India, October 2024 – Puneet Kumra has been promoted to Vice President, Talent Acquisition at Capgemini, marking a significant milestone in his nearly 15-year journey with the company. Puneet’s experience with Capgemini has seen him advance through a series of impactful roles, each allowing him to develop Capgemini’s recruitment capabilities and enhance its talent acquisition strategies. His promotion to Vice President signals Capgemini’s recognition of his contributions to the organization’s talent and growth objectives.
Puneet’s recent role was Senior Director of Talent Acquisition, where he led Early Careers Initiatives, Hiring, and University Relations for India, shaping recruitment strategies and fostering strong relationships with universities. He played a pivotal role in aligning early career programs with Capgemini’s future workforce needs, fostering a pipeline of high-potential talent.
Prior to this, he briefly worked with Accenture as Vice President, Human Resources, where he brought his expertise in HR leadership to drive talent acquisition and development strategies, reinforcing Accenture’s human capital framework.
In his earlier tenure at Capgemini, Puneet held the position of Head – University Relations & Hiring in India, overseeing campus hiring and building strategic partnerships with educational institutions. Additionally, as Head of Talent Sourcing & Java DevOps Recruitment – FS SBU, India, he led the recruitment of specialized technical roles, supporting Capgemini’s critical financial services business unit.
