Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, October 2025 — Punit Misra has joined Allcargo Group as President – Chairman Office and Chief Business Officer, where he will work closely with Mr. Shashi Kiran Shetty, Founder and Chairman of Allcargo Group, to strengthen institution-building efforts and support the long-term sustainability of the company’s diverse businesses. In this strategic role, Punit will report directly to the Chairman and play a key part in driving Allcargo’s growth vision, mission, and organizational values.
With over three decades of leadership experience across media, entertainment, and FMCG sectors, Punit brings a unique blend of strategic foresight and business transformation expertise. Before joining Allcargo, he served at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) in multiple senior capacities including President – Content (Broadcast and Zee5 Digital), President of International Business, and CEO of the India Broadcast Business. During his tenure, he successfully led large-scale transformation initiatives, content innovation, and global expansion efforts that strengthened Zee’s leadership in India’s media landscape.
Prior to Zee Entertainment, Punit had an illustrious 20-year career with Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), where he served on the management committee as Executive Director and Vice President – Customer Development for India and South Asia. In this role, he led high-performing teams, crafted customer-centric strategies, and played a key role in shaping Unilever’s global sales and market development frameworks. His previous leadership roles at HUL included Global Vice President – Route to Market and Traditional Trade Channels and General Manager, Sales & Marketing – Ice Cream Division (Walls), reflecting his broad experience in brand building, distribution, and business leadership.
Punit’s diverse industry background and proven track record in leading large-scale businesses across global markets position him as a strong strategic partner to Allcargo Group’s leadership as the company continues to scale its integrated logistics and global supply chain operations.
