Trowbridge, England, United Kingdom, December 2024 – Rachel Hibberd has assumed the role of Head of Talent & Development at Group 1 Automotive, where she will lead initiatives to enhance talent strategies and drive professional growth across the organization.
Rachel brings over 25 years of experience in talent management, leadership development, and early careers strategy. Prior to joining Group 1 Automotive, she served as Head of Talent and Development and Early Careers at Inchcape UK for seven years, where she focused on designing and implementing leadership programs and succession plans to build future-ready teams.

Before Inchcape, Rachel founded and directed Hobnob Consulting Ltd, where she delivered leadership and management solutions for organizations across the UK and Europe. Her expertise in training design, psychometric assessments, and employee engagement positioned her as a trusted advisor to organizations navigating complex workforce challenges.
Earlier in her career, Rachel held consulting roles at EE, where she played a pivotal role in embedding performance management frameworks during a major telecom joint venture, and at Virgin Media, where she led talent strategies for the Growth Division.
Rachel’s journey began at Virgin Mobile, where she held multiple roles, including People Development Manager and Trainer, specializing in induction training and performance management during the company’s startup phase.
