Hong Kong SAR, December 2024 – Carolyn Hammond has been elevated to the role of Regional Head of Leadership & Talent Development, APAC at Bloomberg, where she will lead the organization’s talent development strategies across the Asia Pacific region. In her new role, Carolyn will collaborate with regional and global teams to foster leadership excellence and drive initiatives that align with Bloomberg’s mission of empowering markets and communities through trusted data and insights.
With over a year of experience at Bloomberg, Carolyn previously served as Leadership & Talent Partner, APAC, where she spearheaded talent development programs and facilitated leadership training initiatives that enhanced organizational capability and employee engagement. Her contributions have been pivotal in shaping robust leadership pipelines and creating a culture of continuous learning.

Before joining Bloomberg, Carolyn worked as an Independent Consultant, providing communications strategy and change management expertise to leading global organizations such as EY and Viatris. Her consultancy experience honed her skills in leadership communications, stakeholder management, and transformation facilitation.
Earlier, Carolyn held several leadership roles at Edelman, including as Head of Client Services for Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Thailand. During her tenure, she successfully led high-profile client relationships, talent development programs, and crisis management initiatives, contributing to Edelman’s growth in the APAC region.
Prior to Edelman, Carolyn served at FTI Consulting as Senior Director, Strategic Communications, where she worked with multinational companies in Asia to strengthen their corporate reputation and manage complex challenges. Her leadership extended to building integrated communications strategies and training teams for sustained impact.
Carolyn’s earlier career includes strategic roles at McDonald’s Hong Kong as a Marketing and Communications Consultant, as well as various leadership positions at Blue Rubicon, where she was instrumental in managing client relationships, driving business growth, and mentoring talent.
