With a deep-rooted commitment to fostering workplace culture and employee engagement, Rachel brings extensive experience in organizational development, talent strategy, and leadership transformation. In her new role, she will oversee people strategy, talent development, and employee experience initiatives to support the company’s continued expansion and commitment to excellence.
Prior to stepping into this role, Rachel served as the Senior Vice President of Culture at StreetLights Residential for over two years, where she played a key role in enhancing employee engagement, diversity initiatives, and workplace culture. She was instrumental in building a strong values-driven organization, ensuring that StreetLights remained a top employer in the real estate development industry.
Before that, she held the position of Vice President of Engagement for two years, where she designed and implemented strategies to drive employee satisfaction, professional development, and leadership programs. Her work directly contributed to fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Rachel’s journey at StreetLights Residential began in 2017 as an Employee Engagement Manager, and over the course of seven years, she has steadily progressed through various leadership roles, including Director of Employee Engagement. Her passion for culture-building, people-first leadership, and innovative HR practices has been the driving force behind her success.
Prior to joining StreetLights, Rachel spent over four years at Interstate Batteries, where she led marketing strategies and spearheaded culture and development initiatives. She also gained experience in fundraising, event planning, and leadership development through her early career roles at Northwestern Mutual and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Rachel holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama, where she served as President of Delta Delta Delta and played an active role in philanthropy, community engagement, and leadership development. Her experience in team building and culture transformation makes her a perfect fit for leading the people strategy at StreetLights Residential.
