Before joining Fasken, Rachel West served as Senior Human Resources Manager at WeirFoulds LLP, where she played a crucial role from August 2023 to April 2024. During her brief yet impactful tenure, she focused on enhancing employee engagement strategies and refining HR operational procedures.
Prior to WeirFoulds LLP, West made significant contributions at Hicks Morley in a career that extended nearly a decade. Starting as a Legal Assistant and rising through the ranks to become Manager of Human Resources, she demonstrated a deep commitment to fostering a supportive and effective workplace. Her roles at Hicks Morley included overseeing HR operations, where she was responsible for initiating comprehensive HR strategies, talent management, and workforce planning.
West’s earlier roles include positions at Hicks Morley Hamilton Stewart Storie and Heenan Blaikie as a Legal Assistant, where she developed foundational skills that enriched her HR capabilities, including meticulous attention to compliance and employee relations.
