Rachna Kumar Joins TVS Motor Company as Vice President – Human Resources

Hosur, Tamil Nadu, India, April 2025 — Rachna Kumar has joined TVS Motor Company as Vice President – Human Resources, bringing with her more than two decades of HR leadership experience across diverse sectors and organizations. Her appointment marks a strategic milestone for the company as it intensifies its focus on innovation, global outreach, and people-led growth.

Prior to this role, Rachna served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Hero MotoCorp, where she led organization-wide transformation aligned with the company’s future mobility vision. Her initiatives focused on building future-ready structures, enhancing leadership capabilities in Premium and EV segments, and fostering a diverse and inclusive culture.

Rachna’s journey with Whirlpool Corporation spanned over seven years, culminating in her position as Head – Human Resources, Asia. She played a key role in driving regional HR strategy across India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, and Taiwan. Before this, she led the HR function for the India Cluster, aligning talent, leadership, and engagement strategies with business goals.

She has also held critical HR leadership positions at The Coca-Cola Company, Tata Trent, Castrol, Philips, and Amul India, managing large-scale talent development programs, transformation initiatives, and retail operations. Her cross-sectoral expertise and strategic orientation make her a valuable asset to TVS Motor Company’s ongoing evolution.

As Vice President – Human Resources, Rachna will lead the company’s talent agenda, people strategies, and organizational culture enhancement. Her proven track record in employee engagement, leadership development, and organizational design is expected to strengthen TVS Motor’s positioning as a future-ready global mobility leader.
